Technology — Three Integrated Innovations

Infrared Laser Drilling (speed), Single‑Well Closed‑Loop ORC (CAPEX & permitting), Cryogenic Power Regeneration (hot‑climate LCOE).

Infrared Laser Drilling (ILD)

Non‑mechanical drilling via high‑power IR beam and rotating mirror — melts/vaporizes rock, avoids bit wear/trips, precision steering.

Target ROP: 10–20 m/hDepth: 10–16 kmNo fracking | No brine
Why this matters: fewer trips & faster penetration → shorter time‑to‑heat; reduced wear/consumables → lower well CAPEX per MW.

Single‑Well Closed‑Loop ORC (SWCLO)

One borehole with a central wall (no inner pipe). Cool working fluid descends on one side, heats at depth, returns on the other to ORC turbine‑generator.

Closed cycleCF ≥ 90–95%Permit‑friendly
Why this matters: sealed loop simplifies permitting, cuts seismic/hydro risk and water handling; compact pads scale modularly.

Cryogenic Power Regeneration (CRP)

Alternating cryogenic loops provide an independent cold sink 15–30 °C below ambient, keeping condenser temperature low and ORC efficiency high with minimal water use.

Hot‑climate readyWater‑lean+10–40% net output
Why this matters: protects output in hot, water‑scarce regions → steadier LCOE and PPA competitiveness.
